How it all started

Here at The Rootery Root Shop, we are decolonizing root-working and cannabis consumption. Our roots started in South Alabama 5 generations ago by land navigators, farmers, and herbalists who thrived in community on Cherokee and Choctaw Indigenous land. The founder, Justic3 Blaz3d, conceptualized a way to consume the healing properties of cannabis without the long term harmful effects of smoke inhalation. Having access and the ability to accurately dose and consume the desired levels of the cannabinoid of choice is a driving factor for what The Rootery Root Shop is. Here you will find odds and ends to complement, improve, and or support ancestral veneration, root-work, and herbal medicine.

Philosophy

We believe that nature knows best. Period. All that we need comes from the Earth and it’s all about how we interact with Nature’s provision that improves our lives holistically. As we grow to understand our bodies’ unique chemistry, we can supply it with herbal support to heal and improve all sorts of conditions.
